Sheng Ji, DDS, MD Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Brought my grandmother in today for a tooth extraction, and she mentioned a few other teeth that were causing discomfort. Dr. Ji was incredibly accommodating and completed all three extractions in one visit, saving us a return trip. Given my grandmother’s complex health conditions, I greatly appreciated how thorough Dr. Ji was in reviewing her medical history and explaining potential risks. The front office staff were kind and efficient, and the ladies in the back were patient and attentive, especially considering my grandmother’s limited mobility. I highly recommend Dr. Ji and his team to anyone in need of an oral surgeon. Looking forward to visiting their new office!

I was referred here by Dr. Collins at Integrity Dental, who is wonderful, and I was hoping to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon, Dr. Sheng. Unfortunately, my experience with the front office was very disappointing. The person who answered the phone (Galinda) was rude and made me feel uncomfortable from the start. She later called back and spoke to me in a demanding manner, asking that I email or text the referral (mind you, I had offered to send them over when I scheduled the appointment and she rudely told me she didn’t need them from me that she would call their office). Because of how the interaction felt, I told her I would need to cancel the appointment, and the call was ended abruptly. I ultimately canceled because the experience left me feeling uneasy and disrespected.

Dr. Ji is very good if you need a cheap surgeon who wants to get in and get out, for something simple like a tooth extraction. If you need a more complicated procedure I would look somewhere else. He performed a wisdom tooth removal that went ok but I had a lot of lingering pain so I went back for a follow up appointment. I had a lot of questions that Dr. Ji did not have the time or patience to answer, so his response was to send me a certified letter in the mail 2 months after that appointment saying that he was no longer going to perform my upcoming orthognathic surgery. He did not attempt to reach out to me or to help me find another surgeon that could perform the surgery, which in my view constitutes patient abandonment. I had gotten my wisdom teeth taken out two years ago by different surgeon outside of United States as an emergency. I found Dr. Sheng Ji through my husband who recently got his wisdom teeth out at this location and he had a great experience. I was seriously shocked at how fast my husband healed and how responsive Dr. was post op with our questions. So what brought me here is at my husbands check up I asked if Dr. Sheng could check on what I thought was a little left over stitch or something poking out from where my wisdom teeth were removed. Came here to get all 4 wisdom teeth out. Was nervous about getting it done. But being put full Anastasia and just waking up. Helped my nerves. Everyone was taking care of me very gentle. Made me feel calm and Great honest pricing. Awesome staff. And Mr. Ji is the G. The goat. my mouth after 7 days feels almost back to normal. Recovery was fast and when I had any doubt. He responded within the hour personally with a call. Would highly recommend.
