The reason a queer barber was chosen was so that the experience would be welcoming and affirming. Unfortunately the experience had here was not. The environment was cold and clipped which was pretty off putting especially when you’re doing something as altering as cutting your hair. I hope in the future there would be more empathy for and more effort in creating an affirm, positive vibe and space especially for queer clients.

Tia was warm and friendly. This was my child's second haircut, but first time with clippers being used. It came out FANTASTIC! He loves it and felt comfortable. Super clean space with a very chill vibe.

Haircut turned out okay, but the service didn’t feel very welcoming. I wasn’t greeted or engaged with during my appointment, even after mentioning that I was nervous. I was hoping for a more comfortable experience, but unfortunately it didn’t feel like a safe space for me.

10/10! Got my haircut from Ken. She took her time and good care of my hair. Also great vibes and a fire playlist. Best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I will definitely be back.

Best barbershop around, and trust me I’ve been around. Crisp line ups & peaceful environment. The shop is super clean & they make you feel welcome. The tools are clean and they put effort into their work. I have locs, & they knew exactly how to cut it without nipping my growth. You leave there looking sharp. Top tier, I’ll never go anywhere else ever again.
