I booked an appointment online but my daughter ended up having a volleyball tournament so I called in and asked to reschedule the lady who answered the phone said she didn't see my name or my daughters name in the system but offered to reschedule me for the next day, I said I wanted the same type of appointment for highlights and she said no problem its booked. My husband and my daughter get there and she puts the gown around her and my daughter explained what she wants and she explained highlights and a cut to which the lady snatched the gown off and says "this is appointment was booked as a haircut I dont have time for highlights " so I call in to find out where the miscommunication went wrong so we could fix it and reschedule yet again but the lady over the phone was extremely rude and

I only post reviews for businesses I either have used very long-term or where I have an extraordinarily good experience. Both are true here. Connie has cared for both of my beloved parents and me for many years. I go regularly for multiple services. These ladies have shown an effective and sincere rapport with everyone from elderly people to young kids. These ladies are competent, honest, and down to earth. Great experiences for me for perhaps 15 years. You only have a thriving business (that got through the pandemic!) from demonstrating skill, providing value, showing dedication, and building relationships. Bravo! 👏

SO LET ME TELL YOU..... THESE LADIES ARE AMAZING!!! I've lived in Livonia for almost 10 years and would drive to my hometown over an hour away because I've been burned in the past with new hairdressers who don't understand the strange "redhead" hair. My hairdresser retired so after reading reviews at over 15 salons around the area I came across Shears and Friends Family Hair Care reviews..... I knew instantly I would be giving them a try!! I was greeted promptly with such a huge smile that I instantly felt welcomed and a little less insecure about trying a new hairdresser, THEN comes ASHLEY to introduce herself as my stylist and I instantly knew we would click (it's always important to me that I can talk and laugh with my stylist). Ashley did a great job cutting and styling my hair. It was long overdue! It was my first time here. I immediately felt welcomed and at ease. Friendly, down to earth place with super nice ladies. We shared a lot of laughs. I'll definitely return!

I have been getting my hair cut by these lady’s for probably close to 20 years, if not longer. Great service, reasonably priced, & very pleasant people. I would highly recommend their services to any of my friends or family.
