I was recommended to Candace by a guy who I only met once. I'm so glad he took the time to share with me. I highly recommend Candace to anyone who has natural hair: blow outs, twist, neo-afro, dreads, you name it. Candace is your girl. What makes Shear so wonderful is they have a diverse group of stylists who can work on a variety of hair types. The staff are professional and welcoming. During my recent visit a woman and I had been chatting with one another for 20 minutes. We were waiting to be seen. One of the stylists asked her who she was there to see? It turned out she was at the wrong salon. She was so upset that she had to leave. "I like this place! I've already made friends," she said. I had been looking for years for someone to maintain my bob. Terry not only maintains it but she has my hair growing and healthy. I just love her. The shop is always busy so I'm assuming all the other ladies are just as good at doing hair. Definitely 5 stars.

I've seen Josie a few times and she has given me the best cut I've ever had. She takes her time to make sure my hair lays perfectly. I highly recommended her!

I am from out of state, new to the area. I walked in to simply ask for rates. All ladies were attending clients and after a few minutes one came up with an abrupt, defensive attitude. I had asked if I could find out how much experience they had. She was immediately offended. I had to explain, I was a cancer survivor with thinning hair and had a bad experience in the past. The lady, still very defensive, expressed that they all had 30 yrs. Experience & what was she suppose to say that they don't know how to cut hair for cancer patients. I'm certain they are all exceptional but I will never give them my business. They have much to learn about customer service. Shear Poetry Salon, your not that fabulous.
