Shear Perfection

Shear Perfection, unfortunately, falls short of its name in almost every aspect. From the moment I walked in, the lackluster ambiance set the tone for what turned out to be a disappointing experience. The outdated décor and worn-out chairs contributed to an atmosphere that felt anything but inviting. The service, or lack thereof, was a major letdown. The barbers seemed disinterested and inattentive, making me question their commitment to delivering quality haircuts. It was evident that the staff lacked the skill and precision that one would expect from a place claiming to offer "shear perfection." I stopped by during my lunch break on a weekday. Asked for high and tight and Joe delivered. He’s clearly done this hundreds of thousands of times. In and out in 15 minutes with a great haircut at a great price. I’ve found my barber in Middletown.

Joe and Kelly are the best! My 6 year old son won't sit still for a haircut for anyone but Kelly, who is infinitely patient and very skilled with the shears! Parking is plentiful and the shop is a short downhill walk from the Wesleyan campus. Good people, great haircuts, excellent value.

I have been a customer for close to 30 years. Kelli does a great job with my hair and she is also a truly nice person. Joe is also very nice and I enjoy each visit to this salon.

Going to Shear Perfection is like going to visit a family member to catch up on what’s going on in each other’s lives, with the added benefit of getting a great haircut from Joe!
