Ashlee is a genuinely talented stylist and always gives me and my family a fresh look each visit. She's a great listener and takes her time. Plus, we laugh at each visit. She's a cool human (and gives us cool hair).

I took my teenage nephew—with his long hair—for a haircut with Ashlee at Shear Madness after hearing multiple recommendations that she’s the best with longer styles. I’m so glad we listened. Ashlee was absolutely fantastic. She made my nephew feel completely at ease from start to finish—there wasn’t a single awkward moment. He felt so comfortable with her that he told me afterward he only wants to see Ashlee for future haircuts. After that, I decided to switch stylists myself and booked an appointment with her—and I’m so glad I did. Not only did I receive one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had, but the entire experience was fun and relaxing. I also love that she works out of a single, cozy booth—it adds a personal touch. I only trust Leslie with my long hair. She has taken care of it for 15 years. I have drove up from Columbus Ohio to see her. I now drive from Southfield.
