Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids

I don’t usually leave reviews on things, But I felt like Ellie needed a huge shout out. We came in for my daughter and I to get ear piercings, and also ended up getting my son’s haircut. Ellie made us feel important! She didn’t rush us(we didn’t have an appt), she thoroughly explained everything, without making it seem like it was her every day job, she made it seem as if our feelings and thoughts/questions mattered. I second guessed a couple times, and was really happy with how she handled all my questions even ones I forgot to ask! Ellie’s kind spirit, patience, friendliness and happy personality really made our mother/daughter experience special! The haircut was the icing on the cake! My son only has his hair cut at a certain place because of previous places, they just were not working

This was our first time going & it was very comfortable and welcoming! Katie was so patient and friendly. he had a scissor only cut and it turned out perfect! He even allowed the cape on him!! Despite his sensory issues, he did amazing! We can't wait to go back and see Katie again!

We took our 21 month old for his first haircut and we were nervous about his ability to sit still and not cry when scissors came near him. It turns out, he was comfortable before he even got to the chair, thanks to the waiting area full of toys both to use and for purchase. Then he got to sit in a Paw Patrol car and he loved “driving”! Charla was both ninja-level flexible, following his moving head around and still cutting evenly, and fast, so that when he got antsy, he was done. She was so patient and kind with him! We got a before and after photo, as well as a little certificate and a lock of his hair to take home. My biggest fear was that he would not have a good experience and be unwilling to go back…but he had a wonderful time. We will absolutely be returning!

Charla did a FABULOUS job on all 4 cuts she did for us today. She was friendly and professional and then an exceptional job at making sure that my youngest felt safe and comfortable during his first haircut. I've been bringing my kids here for about 2 years and I've never had any bad experiences with any of the stylists. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS BUSINESS!

We’ve been bringing our now four-year-old son to Shear Madness since his very first haircut and have requested Sandy every time! She does such a wonderful job and is always so sweet and patient. Overall, Shear Madness offers a great experience for both kids and parents — we’ll definitely be returning for many years to come!
