Shear Madness Haircuts For Kids

I brought my toddler son to get his haircut here today. Maria did a great job! She was patient and kind with him even though he was a little scared. He looks so cute with his new haircut! Prices are reasonable and the place is nice and cozy for kids with TV and fun chairs. Front desk staff was also personable and kind. We'll be returning.

I have taken my son here since he was 2, he’s about to be six. Before today it was an amazing experience and my son was excited to get his hair cut. He is autistic but they’ve always done a great job with him, but today the lady who cut his hair mad it a miserable experience for him, and also us. Constantly complaining about him moving, moving the steering wheel in the car he is in. She also razor burned his neck terribly and cut him multiple times, he wasn’t squirming much and sat still when she asked. She was so rude to him, he’s 6. I don’t think I can ever go back, I don’t know what happened to this place it used to be amazing. Front desk lady was kind of off… no eye contact, no welcoming smile. Once I said what I’m there for. Eyes on the computer and when she was done she just pointed where I can go. I had to correct the girl that cut my kid’s hair. I wouldn’t go back. Prices are reasonable and the place is clean and beautiful but I’ve been to better atmosphere. (The hairstyle was nice, young, very young and very kind)

My first experience was good with Ms.Katrina she understood everything I’ve asked which is why I’ve proceeded to go back however my last two experiences have been horrible the receptionist is always rude . My last visit was with Maria and she was very rude and unprofessional my son just turned three and he’s still getting use to the ideas of hair cuts . I choose this place under the assumption they would be great with kids however most of the staff lack the skill needed when handling children let alone toddlers . Maria was extremely rough with him grabbing him by his neck and forcibly holding his head still . She visibly became more frustrated with him and had no patience with him which in my opinion should be required especially while working with kids . He was a little fidgety but nothin

Alexis is a cute lady that showed patience and tolerance to my son as it was his first time getting his hair professionally cut. Overall, he did really well despite him wondering what Alexis had in her hand. She let him look at it and see if he wanted to touch it. She did great, and my son didn’t mind it for the most part. Thank you!
