I have been seeing Amanda for about 7 months and I am so happy to have found her! Not only is she a fantastic stylist, but her kindness makes you feel right at home in her chair! I am an extension client, so often times I need to come in for tweaks in-between move ups and Amanda is always accommodating, and makes the time in her busy schedule to make time for me! If you are in search of a new stylist I could not recommend Amanda enough! 😊

Amanda at Shear Interest has been doing my hair for years and has helped me transition to my natural salt-and-pepper color over the past year. She started with a full highlight, then partial highlights and toner to keep everything blended. Even though my long hair is only halfway grown out, I get compliments all the time — which is welcomed, especially in my 60s — with no harsh grow-out line. Amanda is very creative, quietly talented, and truly kind-hearted. The salon is always warm and inviting, and every visit feels relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Amanda is an extremely talented hair expert. It's hard to find a gifted colorist. She actually make my hair look so natural and healthy. Highly recommend Amanda to all. She listens and helps you decide what might be best for you.

Not only is she great at what she does, she's a wonderful person to talk with and makes the time I spend getting my hair done even more pleasant. She takes the time to make sure that I am happy with my hair before I leave every appointment and I look forward to my next visit because it's like catching up with a friend that happens to do my hair.

Amanda has been cutting my hair for probably about 5 years now. She used to work at a salon closer to my house, and when she moved to her current shop I didn't hesitate to drive further to get my haircut by her. I'm not always the best at getting my hair cut consistently, so my hair can get pretty long between cuts. But, like magic, she somehow always manages to get it looking perfect by the end of a visit. She is fun, down to earth, and makes you feel comfortable in the chair. If you like talking Disney, video games, and good hair cuts, you've come to the right place.
