I had a disappointing experience. I brought my 10-year-old daughter in for a trim, deep conditioning, and blow-dry. She has long, curly hair, and the staff immediately seemed annoyed about having to work with it. They refused to blow dry her hair, saying it would take too long, and their attitude throughout the service was unpleasant. The deep conditioning wasn’t done well, and despite the poor service and attitude, I still paid $45 and left a tip. Never coming back again or recommending anyone with thick long curly hair to go there

Shear Edge in Westlake is a fantastic salon—clean, welcoming, and always a pleasant place to visit. Tamara does an amazing job every time! She's incredibly patient, takes the time to understand exactly what you want, and delivers great results. I always leave feeling refreshed and confident. My daughter had her hair done by Michelle. She has been bummed about growing out a short hair cut and also wanted highlights. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a cut and color turn out so perfectly! She was beaming! Love this place!
