I had an amazing experience at this salon! Kim did my color and cut, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She really listened to what I wanted and did a great job—my color looks beautiful and the cut is exactly right. The whole experience was relaxed and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend asking for Kim!!!

My experience at Shear Dimensions in West Milford raises extremely serious concerns about their professionalism, judgment, and treatment of customers. After unintentionally leaving my coat at the salon, I returned on three separate occasions over the course of a week to retrieve it. Each time, staff refused to return my own property and told me I would have to ‘come back when the owner is here.’ No legitimate explanation was provided, and no effort was made to resolve the situation despite the coat clearly belonging to me. When I spoke with the owner directly, she repeated that I would have to come back when she was there, rather than authorizing her staff to simply return my coat. Margaret is a goddess! She always does a great job and her expertise has never disappointed. I wanted to go red again, but was concerned about it being too aging and foils were the way to go!

My hair was absolutely BUTCHERED at this place. Never in my life have I been so devastated at a haircut before. Absolutely chopped My bangs to NOTHING. uneven like nothing I've ever seen before. I did not ask for that whatsoever. The stylist tried to cover it up on top of everything and act as if it was like this. I have an important event I'm attending and I'm beyond embarrassed and scrambling to figure out how to fix this disaster. $65 and Completely destroyed my physical appearance.
