Shear 483

Shear 483 was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Joey is a highly skilled and personable barber who clearly takes pride in his craft. From the moment I walked in, his attention to detail was evident. He's knowledgeable about hair, has a great eye for styling, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The cut turned out exactly how I wanted it. I'll definitely be coming back!

Shear 483 is amazing! I've never felt such a premium experience before. When I walked in Joey offered me beverages then proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions about my hair, the story behind it, and what I was looking for. He answered all of my questions, and was a great guy to talk to. He gave me several chances to feel my hair and verify that I liked the direction that he was going with it. Unlike other shops I've been too, Joey is also happy to cut longer hair, and keep the hair long. I'm gonna tell all my friends to check him out and will be going there in future.

Had an amazing experience at Shear 483. I came in after getting one of the worst haircuts I’ve had in years at another barbershop (Hellrazor), and Joey completely turned things around. I’ve been going to Joey for 15 years! He is the best - a total professional who listens, gives advice on what I’m going for, and executes masterfully. I always walk out feeling great with my fresh cut. His new location, Shear 483, is super convenient, right off the L train on Lorimer between Metropolitan and Grand. Great vibe, easy booking, reasonably priced, always on time, and always on point. I take the train from Manhattan just for this. Do yourself a favor and check it out - this is not your average barber shop!
