Sharkey's Cuts for Kids - Land O' Lakes, FL

This was my first and will definitely be my last time coming here. I brought my 2-year-old son for a haircut and told Samara H that I liked his hair in the front to stay the same length. She said okay and mentioned she would only do a level 3 in the back — but then started cutting a lot from the front, even adding layers, after I had specifically asked for the front not to be cut (just to even out the bottom tips). When I pointed out that she had cut too much, she simply said, “I know, sorry — but now it will grow how you want it.” That response was really frustrating and unprofessional. I left very disappointed. This was not the experience I expected for my child’s first haircut here.

My son is a terror in the chair, I was so scared to bring him to a barber because he wouldn’t sit still for me! I am so happy I found Sharkey’s! Susanne was absolutely fantastic with him, her patience and precision was great! He sat still, and his haircut came out amazing! We will definitely be booking again when he needs another haircut!

We had a Daughter and Mommy haircut. Samara did a fantastic job! She was incredibly knowledgeable about hair and she took her time making sure the cuts were exactly what we wanted. I'll be bringing my youngest there for her 1st haircut soon!

We tried to cut my 14 month boy’s hair on our own and it didn’t work out as planned. Came to Sharkeys cuts for kids in LOL and Christine fixed him all up! Our little man looks so handsome with his new haircut. We loved the vibe and he enjoyed his time here.

Susanne was amazing with our 22-month-old nephew. She made the whole experience fun and stress-free — from the Cars-themed chair to her gentle, patient approach. She worked quickly but carefully, and the result was adorable. We’re so grateful for her kindness and talent!
