Sharkey's Cuts For Kids

I want to start by saying that I wasn’t unhappy with the overall service. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and I truly felt that good intentions were there. The only concern I had was with the final result of my daughter’s haircut. The stylist, Fran, may have misunderstood what I was hoping for. My daughter had one longer strand of hair at the nape of her neck, and her hair had grown out, which made her curls feel a bit heavy and flat. I had asked for some layering from the top to help add shape and movement. The outcome ended up being much shorter than I expected, and different from what I had envisioned. I wanted to share this simply for feedback and understanding. I’ve included before and after photos for reference to better show the change.

This place came recommended to me so there must be some good hairdressers there but my experience was terrible. It started with no help from the reception staff who saw me struggling to open the door with a double buggy & small child. One of their customers helped me whilst receptionist watched… I was booked in with Kristine, they’re receptionist asked if i minded who I had, I didn’t as it’s my first time. I don’t know if I had Kristine or someone else. I explained that my son just needed a small trim mainly from the back and it was just a tidy up. She cut his fringe first, it straight and far too short. I immediately pointed this out to her. She began to “feather” it but this made it shorter. We brought our son here for his first haircut at around 15 months, and we had a great experience. I just brought him back for his second haircut at 18 months, and I am so glad to say this time was an even better experience. We booked with Rasha, and she was great. I highly recommend this place for young toddlers. We will definitely be back!

Nice place to have your kids hair cut. They have all sorts of alluring stuff from electronics to customized seat to goodies to calm kids down. The place is clean. After each cut , the floor is swiped abs cleansed. The hair washing zone is separate and clean too. They also do their own laundry. I just thought the price was a but too high excluding the tips. However the hair stylist do a very good job and listens to every query customers make.

Lucy did an amazing job for my daughters first haircut! It includes a cut, style, optional hair glitter, nail paint color and a cute ring. Not to mention a balloon and lollipop to just add to the sweetness! Will definitely be back!
