Sharkey's Cuts For Kids - Apple Valley, MN

We took our 14 month old for a haircut by Nevaeh and she was AMAZING! He was crying the whole time (he hates haircuts) but she was so gentle and patient with him! His haircut turned out absolutely amazing as well. I highly recommend her!

My 3.5 year old daughter has never been to a salon before (we’ve just cut her hair at home until now), and she was really excited to get her first professional treatment (mostly her idea, not mine)! I found Sharkey’s here on Google and was able to get a same day appointment, despite being the weekend. From the moment she walked in, she loved the environment. Getting to sit in a Minnie Mouse car AND watch Paw Patrol while getting pampered?? Day = Made. Her stylist, Delmarie did a splendid job! I loved that despite my daughter being pretty quiet and non-talkative throughout the appointment, Delmarie treated her like a whole person and thoughtfully asked questions about her style preferences and comfort level. She also gave me some excellent styling and product tips that I had never conside

My 2 1/2 year old son does not like to sit still for hair cuts, but here he was able to actually sit still because he got to watch and sit/“drive” Lighting McQueen; which distracted him. He is still talking about it days after. Selena did a very good job being patient with him as well.

After my 4 year old took it upon herself to do self-cuts for her and her sister, I wanted to get their hairs as polished as I could. Because this happened the day before my youngest's birthday (and pictures were being taken), I needed an appointment quick. I called and Sharkey's had same day availability. My daughter seemed to be instantly comfortable and loved sitting in the paw patrol car, watching paw patrol and holding paw patrol toys. After a little styling, she also had her nails done and took home some goodies to help manage her style. While the hair is not perfect because of the self-cuts, her hair is absolutely not so noticably uneven- all thanks to Sharkey's. Nicci was so kind and patient to my shy girl! She did a wonderful job with her hair cut and made the experience so much fun! We will definitely be back for another cut and minicure!
