I went there 3 years ago and still think about it to this day. If I ever go back to Maryland, they are the ones I will go to when I need my hair done. I felt comfortable and my hair was done to perfection. (I had the purple hair, btw.)

I have been a customer for 2 years. I have had some interesting experiences within the 2 years. I was burned by hot water. Which was a mistake and I wasn’t mad about it. One time my corn rolls were so tight I had a headache. I didn’t say anything or complain. I just took them out. Friday I decided to try senegalese twists, Big Mistakes. My hair was just about done and I looked in the mirror only to realize the ends of my hair were sticking out of the twist and the twist were different sizes. When I expressed my concerns I was told it was hard to do the twist on my texture (4C hair). My issue is why not tell me immediately. I would have picked something else. The lack of communication was so unnecessary. I am a very understanding customer and would have been fine with getting something else

My daughter had her hair braided here today, and we are so pleased. I can tell she feels beautiful by the way she tosses her hair! I liked the fact that the prices for every service are so clearly communicated when booking the service. We got 2 confirmations of the appointment with explicit directions for parking, and there were clear signs for the shop. Very easy and convenient.

Lori the owner braided my hair. She used the hair dryer to straighten my hair. She is very heavy handed while using the hair dryer and when I indicated that it hurt, she didn’t seem to care. I asked her to do a mixed of two colors. She used almost all one hair color and very little of the other. I had huge parts on my head for no reason and she didn’t even cut correctly. I will not be returning and I don’t recommend her shop.

Overall, my hair turned out decent, but I would not return. The communication to book the appt was great and I got several confirmations. Prices of braid jobs were posted on the site as well. However, it was not communicated that two different people would be braiding my hair. The girl who did the back was on her phone the entire time and did a sloppy job for $260. She abruptly stopped once she reached the front half of my head and said another Braider would be finishing my head. She left no sooner than she was paid and I waited 45 mins for the next Braider. The person who finished the front of my hair did great, but the quality in the front definitely did not match the back. I did reach out and they offered to have me come back and fix it, but I got caught up in work and just could not dr
