Shama African Hair Braiding and Accessories

I found this place looking for someone to do my micro twist locs. I was greeted with all smiles. Everyone was very nice. My only complaints are being though it was 3 people doing my hair, my parts are not uniform all around my head. They are different sizes and angles in some areas. My right size parts are bigger than the other ones. My middle part is not a middle part as it goes back. Also with 3 people doing your hair at once they are all pushing your head around every way at the same time . I understand having more hands on the head means it will go faster but it’s harder to make sure everyone is doing the same size parts. I paid $400 as well as tipped , which I do not mind paying at all. Just wish I didn’t have to fix my own hair after paying that amount of money. They do great work it

I took my daughter to this African braiding shop, and they did such an amazing job with her hair. The stylist was so patient, gentle, and understanding, and my daughter left smiling. The shop itself was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I also love that they stay open late — it’s perfect for people who get off work later in the day. Highly recommend this shop for great service and a comfortable experience!

I got small boho knotless braids to my mid back and it was such a wonderful experience! They were so fast and everyone working on my hair (and in the shop in general) was so sweet and such a joy to be around. The pricing was also great and they were so gentle that I kept almost falling asleep in the chair. I’ll definitely be back and totally recommend this shop to anyone looking for a fabulous place to get their hair done!

I found this shop on Google after trying multiple stylists. One of the main reasons I would consider returning is the customer service and attention to detail. In the past, I’ve had stylists complain when I asked to see my hair during the process, but when I asked here, it was no problem at all. When I noticed a crooked part, she immediately took it out and fixed it without hesitation. My parts are straight and not crooked. My only feedback, which I’ve already shared, is that I would prefer the parts in the back to be a bit smaller next time for consistency. Other than that, the service was great, and the customer service was excellent.

She did my braids in only 2 1/2 hours I got feedins , she was so gentle and not pulling on my hair. I was running a little behind as well and she still waited for me and got me in and out .
