Shady Acres Country Soaps

I bought this soap because it was locally made with beef tallow. The scents were fragrant but not too overwhelming. I also bought some shave soap. My beard is thick and curly which can be hard to manage and I’m prone to ingrown hair. As for the soap, it feels moisturizing but not greasy and lathers well. It doesn't crumble and lasts. The shave soap is the best shaving product that I’ve come across. I bought the “lumberjack” scent. Its smooth, smells incredible and doesn’t dry out my face and neck. I actually went to a local establishment today where Laurin was selling her products and walked away with more soap and lotion. I plan to give the soap to my dad for the holiday. He been using hand made soap for years but he’s never had any like this. Absolutely earns all 5 stars.

The colloidal oatmeal body butter made my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. The soaps smell great and last longer than others I have used, and my husband loves the grill rub! Lauren is great!!!

I have battled razor bumps for most of my life, and with Shady Acres's shaving soaps, I don't have razor bumps battles anymore! And since the shaving soap was such a success, I have since tried their regular bath soap and I was impressed. The scents are amazing and they left my skin feeling hydrated and clean. I always used Irish springs or dial or some name brand bar soap, but it always left my skin super dry. So if you want good clean skin that isn't dried out, I would recommend the soaps. And I won't use regular shaving cream ever again. The shaving soap I know keep stocked in my bathroom!

I particularly like Shady Acres' Jasmine Vanilla Tallow Soap; it has a lovely smell and is a great bath/shower soap leaving my skin feeling clean and moist. I also recently purchased her pumice soap because I do a lot of gardening and while I try to wear gloves sometimes the gloves get in the way of work. The pumice soap feels oddly rough at first but really does a great job of cleaning and softening my hands. My husband smokes from time to time but hates the smell left on his hands so he tried this soap and says it removes all of the cigarette smell from his hands and leaves a pleasant clean smell. I highly recommend the Shady Acres' products!

I love the face tallow! The scent and texture are perfect! I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me. I have also used several of the lotions and body butters to help with my child’s sensitive skin and it has helped bring her relief.
