The vibes were so off & the workers seemed to have attitudes when we didn’t want to spend more money. one lady told the receptionist she didn’t want to do my pedicure for some odd reason , which was weird but had someone doing my friends pedi right away, I was going to offer a great tip but due to the environment, attitudes & energy I deducted it , it seemed judgmental as well they kept looking at my feet while they were getting done & chatting my feet are cute so there was nothing to talk about lol.. I just wanted a simple French tip with acrylic on my big toes , & the First Lady all of a sudden didn’t wanna do it & kept staring at me the whole time I was here .… weird . also the staff seemed very money hungry as well. We’ve been coming to Serenity for more than a decade and I made an appointment in advance for my family to get our nails done together. Our appointment was at 6pm tonight for 4 pedicures and 5 gel manicures. When I was seated for my manicure, the nail tech dipped my feet in the water, clipped my toenails crooked and then immediately started applying gel to my wet nails. She was extremely rushed and careless and got gel all over my skin then cut my skin with clippers trying to remove the hardened gel. Everyone else in my family was still having a full pedicure with cuticles cut, exfoliation and massage while the tech working with me did none of that - only gel paint and aggressively tried to upsell other services. This place is always clean and have enough staff (barely wait) that are efficient, attentive & accommodating. I always come to this place because they have good sanitary practices- like they open the sanitized tools in front of you, uses new towels and plastic cover for foot spa. They also have a separate room if you want your eyebrows waxed/ get in a good shape. They have varied options for manicure and foot spa. You will surely get pampered… it’s just a bit pricey though- services are getting higher every time I go there.

I have been going to serenity for pedicure for years and today was finally the last straw. My visit today I was hoping for a peaceful and relaxing pedicure. When I get pedicures it’s usually to treat myself since it can be costly. This visit I was constantly told to change my mind about the polish I had picked out. That it did not compliment my skin tone. I was also repeatedly reminded how long it’s been since I have had my last pedicure. It felt shameful as she talked about my calluses and outgrown my polish was. I work on my feet all day long. I also felt disrespected because I had painted my nails the night prior and she asked if I had and when I answered yes she responded with “I can tell”. She asked to redo them. do not recommend. nails look and feel terrible. sticky rough it’s ridiculous. what set me off was that she filed my gel nails at the end and put straight lotion on top? didn’t brush the dust off. just mixed the two in my hands. - when i walked out i saw she didn’t even clean them up underneath my nails is bits and chunks of nail polish
