The website says that they just relocated, but from previous reviews it seems that they’ve been located in this building for some time now. We had an hour and a half couples massage along with a 30 minute head spa. Upon stepping out of the elevator, you’re greeting with an empty, under-renovation room. Then you walk down the hallway and push the doorbell — someone walks around the counter of the registration desk and waves us through. Upon entering registration, there were at least 5-6 people all in the registration area — none of these individuals were the masseuses or the people who did the head spa. We were sent through a door and told to go to the right into the waiting room. Once in the waiting room — it’s kind of bright and dead silent. No tranquil music or anything. We were ushered
I absolutely love going to Serendipity! From being greeted by the lovely faces at the front desk to the individual providing the services, everyone is so kind and down to earth. I have gotten a brow tint and eyelash extensions recently and I love them, I left feeling so beautiful! I plan on getting more services done in the near future and strongly encourage you to do the same for your beauty needs. I feel they are reasonably priced, too, so please check them out.
My first experience at this spa was less than desirable. I booked a facial with dermaplaning expecting to leave with the skin of a thousand newborn babies — smooth, radiant, glowing like I drink water and mind my business. Instead, my face was shaved like it had violated probation. I’m fairly certain the “dermaplaning tool” was an eyebrow razor from the clearance bin at a pharmacy. The sound alone aged me three years. Now, a rational person would not return. I, however, have never met a red flag I couldn’t romanticize. So a year later, my bestie and I booked the Valentine’s Day special: head massage/facial, blowout, and a murder podcast. Self-care meets true crime? Say less! Except the murder podcast never entered the chat. When I asked about it, I was told they don’t play it during
I bought massage hair wash and cut and style facial pedicure and hour massage for my fiancé for her birthday. She expressed how nice the staff was but how she would not ever go back. She said there was hair all over the floor when she got her hair cut like they just left it there for weeks. She said they pulled someone else’s hair out of a brush and then used it in her right in front of her. She said there was wires everywhere hanging and every outlet had surge protectors overloaded to the max. I picked them because their prices seemed reasonable but now I wish I would have just spent the extra money and I feel like I let her down.
I would not recommend this business, especially if you are from out of town. My husband and I booked a 2:00 pm couples massage and were really looking forward to it. The confirmation we received only listed the date and time — no address. When the appointment day came, I used the address that appears for Serendipity Spa and Salon on Apple Maps. When we arrived, there was no visible entrance and no way to get into the building. I called the salon and was placed on hold while continuing to search for an entrance. When someone finally came back on the line, I was told that I was at the wrong location and that they had not been at that address for two years. I’m not sure why that address is still associated with the business online, but as someone unfamiliar with the area, I had no way of kn
