Courtney is incredibly professional and skilled at identifying the root causes of body issues quickly. He doesn’t just address surface-level tension—he pinpoints underlying problems like adhesions, muscle imbalances, and even breathing patterns that contribute to chronic tightness. His deep tissue work is therapeutic and restorative, and his ability to explain what’s happening in your body makes each session educational as well. Easily one of the best massage therapists I’ve worked with!

During my massage, Courtney picked up on physical habits I have that affect my tightness, such as a tendency to cross my legs as soon as I sit down. He is very thorough and lets the body guide his work. He pays close attention to how you breathe and how your body reacts to his technique, and he coaches along the way when you start to tense up or inadvertently push back. It is a wonderful experience, and he is able to diagnose things to be aware of to reduce the amount of tightness in the body with very few words.

Courtney’s empathetic manner, his skill and deep knowledge of body mechanics and fascia, and the ambiance — each of those alone would have been enough to have me appreciating and coming back again. I have had deep tissue massages before, but never like this. Courtney is next level! I told him I had arthritis is my spine, neck, and shoulders, and he provided an approach and treatment unlike anyone ever has. It was the most therapeutic and Zen session I've ever experienced and I will definitely return.
