Being more familiar with the baby Sephora store in Kohl's, I popped in here while doing other shopping at the Gardens to pick up some Giorgio Armani foundation. I had to ask the two staff ladies that were chatting in the aisle where it was, which was met with sullen annoyance. When I couldn't find the shade I needed, she walked back with me and silently pulled it from the top of the shelf and handed it over with a bored look on her face. Whatever. I also wanted to shop for fragrance as that is one of my obsessions, and upon approaching the fragrance wall to spray scents on the sample sticks, I discovered that each bottle was attached to the shelves with a retracting cord. Like ewwww absolutely not. Me and my girlfriend came in today at least 70 people in the store we came to see the perfume and smell the testers. Had 3 separate associates come up and ask us if we needed help within 5 minutes. Me and my girlfriend were the only ones at the back wall 3rd associate yells “Let me know if yall need help back there” basically trying to put us on blast. We just left afterwards left the sourest taste in our mouths. We’ve been to Louis Vuitton and Saks 5th Ave and had way better customer service. For Sephora to be a rebranded Ulta their associates do way too much. I’ll never be back 🤮

Jenny at Sephora has been the kindest to me and delivers outstanding customer service. Super rare ! Listen, many ladies like myself are shy to ask about makeup especially with all these trends going on. However my purpose of the visit was to find a good matte foundation since Ulta has limited brands. Sephora has a variety and vegan friendly. I have had a bad experience with makeup artists before just try to sell me something or recommend the wrong color just because it looks prettier to them. I've been stuck with a lighter than my skin foundation for a while and tried to explore within the Ulta realm and never given products that help my skin. I only gotten primers and foundations that would strip my dry skin and I have dry/oily tzone combo, no one at ulta wants to match you anymore unless

Last week, I had an eyebrow waxing session that was the best I've ever had. I mean, seriously. So, I decided to book a full face makeup session with the same young woman, whose name is Monica Kasen. Again, it was a fantastic experience. I was getting ready for a professional photoshoot and I don't really wear much makeup at all, but I felt like I was ready to glam it up a bit. I'm thrilled that I did. Monica was wonderful and for the rest of the day, I literally had 3 people I don't know tell me I'm beautiful and 2 friends say the same thing, i.e. You look beautiful... (Wow!). I told them I got a makeover and their responses were epic. Apparently, at nearly 62 years, I should glam up more often. LOL! Thank you Monica! I'm going back to buy product this weekend!

This store is a great size and carries a lot of products that I didnt even know about even in the clean makeup category. 4 staff members helped me during my visit. They also have free parking lot parking available across the street or behind the store. I also appreciated that a lot of things were in stock that i needed and they were proactive in letting me know that i had points on my account to use towards todays purchase. They so offer makeup services again.
