I bought a gift card here for my wife for Christmas, only for her to find a $0 balance when she tried to use it. Sephora’s support confirmed the funds were drained via online transactions shortly after the New Year. There is a clear security breach or internal issue with their gift cards. Save your money and buy a physical gift elsewhere—do not trust their gift card system.

Every time I go in they are woefully understocked. Almost every display they have is missing well over half its products and in a lot of cases, there's a display with zero products. What is the point of that???? Either the stuff is selling like hotcakes or they just aren't restocking. I spoke with a manager the last time I visited. She approached me as she could see my frustration. She asked what I was looking for and I told her. She went in the back and got the products. This kind of thing is rarely seen at ULTA and they actually have sales people that are helpful. Plus, ULTA has a bigger variety of products and price points. Save yourself the trouble, skip sephora. Go to ULTA instead.

The associates would rather stand around at the register talking about customers they don’t like rather than help them.
