Holiday shopping is a great time to explore new products while getting the ones you need. The staff and makeup artists offer excellent suggestions when you are looking for specific items. I need a full lash, but not excessive fullness. A makeup artist helped me find a suitable product from a brand-new-to-me brand called Lilly Lashes. And self-adhesive for five wears.

I walked into this Harrisburg PA Sephora and was pleasantly greeted by an employee named Bridget near the front of the store. I headed towards the fragrances and there were two more employees engaged in a conversation. One of the employees turns and looks me up and down (not nicely) and turns back to the other employee to continue their conversation. No greeting, no offer of assistance. I went to a display right next to them and spotted the perfume I had came for. I waited a bit to see if I’d get an offer for assistance but I didn’t so I walked back to the front of the store to find the employee who greeted me when I entered. I asked if she could help me and she did gladly. We both walked past the other two ladies who were still engaged in conversation (not job related) and Bridget got the

I have been to this location a few times, and haven’t really been acknowledged/ if i have been it wasn’t pleasant and that made me feel like i didn’t belong in the store. I decided to give it another shot before i wrote it off. Today I went in with no budget, looking for good a skin care / make up routine and i came across Amoris. She is SO friendly, so kind, so knowledgeable.. SO helpful, so welcoming. i can’t say enough good things about her. I feel so confident about the $500 i just spent because she knows her stuff and knew what i needed for my skin type. I hope every time I go into this store from now on she is there. I truly hope she is valued as the great employee she is. She SO deserves that recognition. she deserves a raise at the very least… I know good things will come to her.

I had an unpleasant experience at this Sephora location today- on Tuesday evening - after 6pm so manager can identify the employee. One of the evening-shift employees ( she is a black female ) treated me indifferently and even smirked when I came in to buy hair care products without makeup on. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt dismissed by her — she’s much friendlier toward other customers who come in wearing full makeup. Every shopper deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of appearance. I hope management looks into this and ensures a more welcoming experience for everyone.

I had a great experience when I went this past week. Miya was very helpful and kind, and assisted me in finding the best concealer and setting spray for my skin tone/type. She was very sweet with my little one, as well. Great visit overall!
