I’ve been to several Sephora locations over the years and haven’t always had the best experiences, but the Sephora in Gaithersburg is hands down the best one I’ve visited. I’ve had consistently great experiences there on multiple occasions. One of the store managers, Bridget, truly goes above and beyond to make sure customers are well taken care of. She’s incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you find what works best for you. She’s also supported by an amazing team of beauty advisors (specifically Amiee and Alexia) who are just as patient and thorough. Unlike other Sephoras where color matching can feel rushed or hit-or-miss, Bridget and her team take the time to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your concealer, bronzer, and overall selections. I want to thank Vanessa for helping me a few weeks ago find the perfect concealer shade. I spent about 25 minutes trying to find the right match on my own before asking for her help. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and she found exactly what I was looking for. I was extremely happy with the Dior concealer she recommended—it’s the perfect shade, and you can’t even tell I’m wearing makeup. I plan on returning soon and hope she’s there to help me again. Came in the store two weeks ago on a Friday night looking for a new skin tint to use as my foundation and a matte concealer. Maria was one of the best associates I've encountered at a Sephora store. Extra shoutout to her because I believe it's her birthday and I waited to do the review today. Thank you for color matching me and recommending the Hourglass concealer—it leaves such a heavenly glow with my full face! Maria was super attentive, even when the store got busy and was flexible on her feet to assist multiple clients. She's always smiling and her personality is just naturally warm. Definitely was not a coincidence that we share a birthday week. Happy birthday!!!

I’ve been to Sephora a handful of times and I usually don’t enjoy visiting the Rio Crown location because it doesn’t feel very welcoming. No one really speaks to you or offers help. I typically prefer going to the Pike & Rose or The Mall locations. However, today my daughters needed to run in and I decided to stop by despite my usual experience. I want to take a moment to acknowledge one of the sales associates, Ashley. After three other associates walked past us without engaging, Ashley came over, greeted us warmly, and made us feel welcome. Her kindness and personal attention really stood out and made our visit enjoyable. This isn’t meant as a complaint about the location overall, just a shout-out to Ashley for going above and beyond. Thank you for making our experience special.
