SEPHORA at Kohl's

I had an amazing experience at Sephora thanks to Sevinch! She was incredibly helpful and took the time to guide me through all the products. Her knowledge and friendly attitude made shopping so much easier and enjoyable. I really appreciated her patience and great recommendations—definitely one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had!

I am a brown Hispanic person and I got racially profiled this afternoon by an employee. I came into the store to buy a cologne to use this weekend for an event. But once I stepped into the section the employee started following me around. And once I picked up a cologne to test smell she came in rushing asking me what I was doing. I responded with “ I wanted to test smell a ysl cologne to buy” then responded with “ oh ysl is good “ she instantly left but kept a short distance. I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave the store. Not planning on coming back or ever do business with this location again.

I had a frustrating experience at Sephora. I was told to come back on Monday because that’s the only day they honor any sort of military discount, only to find it wasn’t honored when i returned. It’s disappointing when customer service isn’t helpful, especially when it comes to something as important as supporting military personnel. Judy the manager and her associate were unhelpful and quite honestly might need more training when it comes to emotional intelligence. They were un apologetic and rude. Sometimes it’s about the principal. I get mistakes happen but own up to it. She asked me to describe the young women working that day and said she would coach her. That’s it. I definitely won’t be back.

Special thanks to employee Zahra who helped me today. Zahra was positive and helpful, patient and knowledgeable while I was looking for a specific shade of product. I was totally out of my depth, and she stuck with me giving recommendations while I tried many different products and shades. I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. I have left many similar stores empty handed, but with her awesome help, I found what I was looking for. She made my day — give her a raise!! Thank you, Zahra!

I recently visited to get testers for two foundations I was interested in. Cynthia assisted me, and she was incredibly helpful. She took the time to find a perfect shade match for me and kindly packed two samples for me to take home and try. I really appreciated her excellent service! Thank you Cynthia!
