SEPHORA at Kohl's

I visited Sephora today looking for a specific perfume. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away, which was wonderful. I headed over to the fragrance section where a young lady named CeeCee helped me. She was absolutely amazing very sweet, patient, and had such a lovely personality. I really wish my review could end there. Unfortunately, my friend and I also had an encounter with another associate, who we were told was named Ebony. Her behavior was rude, aggressive, and unnecessarily pushy. While CeeCee was assisting us, Ebony repeatedly insisted they didn’t have the perfume we were looking for and stood uncomfortably close to me in a way that felt intrusive. My encounter was straight forward. Had what I needed and made a purchase. My only criticism of this process was the individual helping me I think was having a bad day, as they didn't show any emotion or interact with me. The individual wasn't rude or anything but my typical experience in Sephora is usually more upbeat.

This Sephora has some of the best customer. I went in for one thing and had a question about something else. Mai (sp?) was super helpful about face masks and serums. They were very knowledgeable about various products and their effects on skin. I left feeling more confident about what I needed to do to care for my skin. Allison helped me find a color-matching concealer. I was all over the place with what I wanted and they took the time to identify products that would be good for my skin and color. They are very knowledgeable about the various products and took their time applying products to my skin. Allison also made me a few samples to take home. I’ve been at Kole’s Sephora, many times and my experience is often the same, I’m always waiting and the sale attendant, I’m not sure if they goes by him or they, but they are always to busy to help and always have an attitude when I try to get their attention, I’m not pointing them out to be mean but I always feel small and insignificant when it happens and I wanted to express that so no one else would feel that way. I don’t feel I will be back to this location even though it’s the closest one to my home, but I hope my words help someone get the respect they deserve when shopping.

They didn’t have many things in stock or a wide selection. Their reward system was also down so I wasn’t able to get my points for my purchase, so that was also very inconvenient. But the lady checking me out was really sweet. If in the area - I’d suggest just making the quick drive to the location at Springfield Mall.
