Senegalese African Hair Braiding

I was quoted $180 for braids in color 4, with hair included. The staff was polite and professional during my appointment, which I appreciated. However, the final result did not match the reference style I showed. The braid pattern, placement, and overall layout were noticeably different from the inspo photo, and the hair used was darker than the color 4 I requested. Too many braids at the top…leaving the back quite boneless and less full. I also asked for Stitch cornrows and did not receive them. Although I was initially told my hair could be braided without being blown out, it was later blow-dried using a brush tool MULTIPLE times throughout the service. Ida was such a saint, truly. I went in for an emergency appointment and she came in early to do some beautiful Senegalese twists. She was quick, too. I have very thick, bra length, 4c natural hair. She was done with my medium waist length twists in 4 1/2 hours (it takes me DAYS to do this).

I have been coming here for the last 3 years and have not been disappointed! The thing I appreciate the most is that they honour appointments and don’t waste time. And I always leave with great braids!

I had a great experience at this hair braiding store! The staff was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. I got box braids, and they came out neat, even, and exactly how I wanted. The braiders worked quickly but didn’t rush, and the environment was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that they listened to what I wanted and even gave me advice on how to care for my hair afterward. Pricing was fair for the quality and speed of service.
