Semmys barber shop

Shahre is an excellent barber who always does an amazing job! He cuts hair for both men and kids, and he’s great with children. He is very patient, friendly, and makes them feel comfortable. My kids haircut always comes out exactly how they want it, and my kids leave happy every time. The shop has a welcoming vibe, and Shahre clearly takes pride in his work. If you’re looking for a reliable, skilled barber for yourself and your family, Shahre is the one to go to!

Probably the best shop in Middletown, maybe even CT. Starting going here about 4 years ago and realize people wait for the best. All 3 barbers are personable and great with kids. My 3yr old son was afraid of haircuts, but these guys got him over his fear and delivered great results. Totally recommend.

Semmy cuts hair like he has to leave for a flight, but I can't argue with results. That took less than half the time as any other haircut I've ever had, but looks just as good. The man knows his craft.

Was in the area for work and had some time so I went to Semmys barber shop for a haircut. I usually go 3-4 months between cuts so my hair was fairly long. I called before I got there and was glad I did as it’s a busy place. I arrived around noon and there were a couple of Dads getting their young sons haircuts. The place is clean, classic and old school; 3 barber chairs, a wall of mirrors and sports on a quiet tv. It was just what I was hoping for. Semmy cut my hair and did an excellent job. He made me feel comfortable and is an easy person to talk to. He asked me what I wanted and he delivered. Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. Avoid this place at all costs. The guy who cut my hair was Shahre (middle chair) and gave me a completely different fade then I asked for, of course I couldn’t tell until the end because I was never facing the mirror. It would have been fine except the fade wasn’t even good and it wasn’t even blended into the top, it looked like a bowl cut on one side. I went back in to get it fixed but he couldn’t even fix it. I spent a few hours trying to fix it myself, but I would avoid this place unless you want your hair messed up.
