This school was a complete disappointment. From beginning to end, I was misled by false promises. There was no instructor for the Nail course we sat in a classroom every day doing nothing. We weren’t taught a single thing. A guest instructor from another salon came in one day and managed to teach us more in a few hours than we learned in six months. This school is a total waste of money. You could learn more from YouTube or TikTok than you ever will here. They also fail to inform you about your outstanding balance until it’s time to graduate, forcing you to sign loan papers for a course that provides no real education and doesn’t even have a qualified teacher. I understand that SearcyBeauty college is a very good school. I little sister completed the course and has her cosmetology license. She said that she enjoyed it and it was a good education. The property is nice looking and the staff is nice when you go in to get a haircut. I don’t have hair just make up LOL but I have taken my kids there. Give it a try, but keep in mind the students cut your hair!!!

I know its a school where they r learning but so far none of them hav known how to wash my hair and it doesn't seem complicated but possibly to the students it is. They dont clean the scalp at all and barely get the hair cleaned. The teacher was cheering on 1 student and encouraging her after her getting me and my shirt soaked instead of kindly telling her how to try and prevent it . How will they learn if they r not corrected or shown how to properly do a thing . Fair price for a wash though.

London was so sweet, my set of acrylics was her first one and so, understandably they had to be corrected but she's going to be a GREAT tech soon...and Olivia did such a great job! Thank you both. I do feel like the receptionist should tell you what to expect if you've never been there before.
