Katie is amazing! She is very personable and friendly. She was able to squeeze me in immediately and did a huge hair cut for me. She was attentive to make sure I wanted the change and gave me great feedback and thought based on my hair and face structure. Prior to my first to seeing Katie for the first time, I had grown my hair out for over 2 years in anticipation of donating 10 inches. Understandably, I was quite apprehensive about such a drastic cut. I had been to several salons in Wilmington since moving back in 2013 and never really found a good fit. How lucky am I that I discovered Katie and Sea Ray Salon! Not only was she fast to schedule my original appointment, she suggested the perfect short cut for me. It had been so long since I cut my hair I had no idea what was "in" or what would look good with my face shape. She knew exactly what to do. This place is a hidden gem and Katie is a master. I was having a 'hair crisis' when I found Sea Ray Salon. I have long hair and I was thinking of 'embracing my grey' but all I embraced was drab. Katie put the life back into my hair. She added just enough color and highlights to make it shine, and a slight trim to give it bounce. I was having a hard time trying to tell her what I was looking for but she knew exactly what to do after we chatted for a bit. I could not be happier with the outcome. If you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to relax and get your hair done look no further! It's been a while since my hair has looked this good. Katie is awesome! I've had cuts and colors done by her and she always does an amazing job. Her space is super cute, comfortable and private.

I love Sea Ray Salon!! Katie knows blondes and she knows great color, cuts and how to give one damn good head massage! She’s also just fun to chat with while she cuts your hair. Highly recommend!
