I can honestly say that Derek changed my life and gave me back my confidence. For many years, my curly hair had been thinning, and I was so embarrassed that I started wearing wigs to hide it. Derek always suggested cutting it short, but he never pressured me, I wasn’t ready. Over the years, he worked his magic with the hairstyles he created, giving me hope and showing me possibilities. Finally, when I was ready, Derek gave me the cutest short curly girl haircut I could have imagined and wow, do I look amazing! My curls have a new life, my hair feels full and beautiful, and I get compliments everywhere I go. I barely wear my wigs anymore and walk proudly in public. Had my first visit today and I had such a great experience with Derek! He was super nice, so knowledgeable about curls, and really took the time to explain what he was doing. I left the salon feeling amazing and so confident with my hair. Highly recommend him if you want someone who makes you feel comfortable and cared for! 💕

I had the best experience at Scrunch with Lacey. From the moment I sat down, she instantly made me feel comfortable. She is so warm, friendly, and easy to chat with. Scrunch itself is always such a joy to be in. It's a gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and genuinely comfortable space. It was such a treat chatting with Lacey and Derek while being pampered, and of course getting to pet Tinsley the dog, who was looking especially cute in her holiday sweater. My haircut is absolutely top notch. Lacey took the time to make sure I understood how to style it and truly made me feel like a million bucks. She is clearly an expert at her craft. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Derek was absolutely amazing. I came in thinking all my life my hair was a straight/wavy mess but with the correct cut and styling, it’s actually curly. He is extremely knowledgeable. I left the salon feeling incredible and like I am finally able to tame my hair.
