Scissorhands (캐리 - 가위손)

Take it from someone who's Korean and has been to many Korean hair salons--do not give this place your business. When I visited the establishment, I was the only customer, which makes this incident even more egregious. Even after I specified that I wanted a perm both at the time of reservation and when I was seated, the stylist disregarded both the instructions I rendered and the reference photo I showed him, intentionally cutting my hair too short. When I asked him again whether the hair would be too short for a perm, the stylist, even when it was clearly irredeemable, suggested that I go through with the perm. I elected to not perm my hair. To add insult to injury, the hairstylist suggested that I come back to get my hair permed in a month.

Disappointed after a promising start I’ve been getting my hair cut once a month, and for the past two months, I went to Scissorhands after finding them in the phone book. The first visit was great—my stylist was skilled, and I was really pleased with the cut. I went back the following month and had another great experience with the same stylist. I called today to confirm the date of my next appointment (since they don’t give reminder cards or call you), and was told that my stylist no longer works there. When I asked if someone else could take the appointment I had lined up, I was told no. The person I spoke with briefly looked through the schedule but ultimately said there was no availability. I had an amazing experience! Best location I've been to for a haircut. Highly skilled and professional workers at this location. The workers here will work with you and have great understanding in their field. 100 percent would recommend to anyone especially people with Asian hair. Andy was just amazing!
