I had my haircut by Desiree and my hair colored by Bethany in two separate appointments, and it was worth every penny. Both were incredibly knowledgeable, made me feel secure throughout the process, and are clearly experts in their field. They were accommodating, took their time, and never made me feel rushed or like my requests were a bother. I’m particular about my curly, textured hair and hadn’t had a proper haircut in a long time, but this experience makes me want to come back—and with the same stylists. I highly recommend this salon, especially Desiree and Bethany.

Definitely don’t sleep on this salon! One of the best in the DMV area and so close to DC. I’ve been here twice with Desirea Sprouse doing Deva Cut and always left super happy with my hair and style. They do listen to you, suggest what you might need, and the rest is just magic. The staff are always warm and welcoming, the lady who washed my hair was super nice and did an amazing job. ❤️

I had a great experience with Masha this week. She was easy-going and a nature lover (like me). I am not used to paying so much for a haircut, but it seems like the salon treats everyone well and pays their employees a good wage, so it is worth a slightly more expensive haircut (plus it's the DMV, it's expensive). Anyway, Masha cut off at least 4 inches and did it in a very precise and timely way! I definitely recommend this salon and her. Thank you!

I’ve been a returning client for years and have always had a great experience with Masha — she’s the main reason I kept coming back. However, I recently had a disappointing experience that left me rethinking my loyalty to the salon. Due to my own error, I was going to be late to my appointment as I totally spaced and thought the appointment was the next day. I was upfront and honest about it. I fully understand and respect that the salon has a no-show policy, which they do communicate clearly. That said, I believe there should be some flexibility or consideration for long-time, returning clients — especially when honesty is met with a full $130 charge for no service at all.
