I did a lot of research before booking my appointment with Ms. Shawnta. I was looking for someone professional, communicative, and knowledgeable and found just that. I had two consultations and felt reassured that I would be in good hands. I appreciate the option to wash the braiding hair beforehand. Time after time, my scalp has been so itchy and flaky with braids. I always thought I just had to sacrifice discomfort for style. The $10 add on for the service was worth it because my itching is absolutely minimal. She gave me tips as a gym girl to keep my scalp clean and hair moisturized in between washes too! I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair braided by Shawnta at SB Luxe, and I can't express enough how amazing the experience was! I opted for smedium boho braids, and from start to finish, everything was top-notch. Shawnta demonstrated a remarkable level of professionalism throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive and made me feel comfortable asking questions....no matter how many. 😊 Shawnta guided me through every step, making thoughtful recommendations on the type of hair to use and styles that would suit my hair texture. Her insights helped me avoid unnecessary expenses on products that wouldn’t work for me. The atmosphere in her shop was AMAZING —positive and welcoming. We laughed and had great conversations, which made the experience even more enjoyable. O

Glad to have sat in Ms. Shawnta chair. The atmosphere was soothing and she provided wash and blow dry before braiding my hair. My hair turned out beautiful along with the color choices she chose. She’s very professional and her energy is contagious. I can’t wait to sit back In Her chair, I already have 3 hairstyles lined up.

I've had a lot of "different" braiding experiences in the past but this was by far the best. Shawnta was professional, kind and just all around pleasant to talk to. She is a fast braider and the time went by so fast. 10/10 recommend. She provides a great experience with a clean shop and my hair looks so good 😊!!!! Will definitely be booking with her again

I LOVE ME SOME SHAWNTA BRAIDS 🥰 Been getting my hair done by her for years & I’m so thankful to have found her to do my hair. not only is her work beautiful & neat, she is fast as well . I have thick long hair with short patience, my girl Shawnta gets me in & out. She cater to her clients & make you feel at home in the chair.
