I had a session with Jake and was really impressed. His pressure was deep but so intentional and steady that my body never tensed up — I could actually melt into it instead of bracing. I left with real relief in my shoulders and overall felt lighter and more open. He’s kind, grounded, and genuinely talented. I’d absolutely return.

I've really enjoyed my sessions with Jake. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and made me feel safe. His touch was firm and comforting, the sessions soothing for my chronic tension and I felt better mobility afterwards. He has a great attention to detail when it comes to the body, and responds well to feedback during and after the session. I look forward to seeing him again in the future.

I had a great experience and will definitely be returning! The location and parking was easy to find. The space was bright and cozy with natural light. Jacob checked in and communicative about comfort and pressure. And I left feeling the perfect balance of having thoroughly worked on my injuries/pains & blissed out relaxation.

As always, Mod Bodywork’s space was lovely to be in, and Jake’s work in that space didn’t disappoint! I left my 60-min massage wishing I’d booked a 90, and I will be rebooking again. His professional, thoughtful, and calm presence was the perfect counterpoint to his gentle but firm work. His check-in before work started made sure he knew any concerns I might’ve had, and any areas I wanted to focus on, and it was clear during the work he’d listened to what I said. Would recommend!

Jake has a natural intuition backed by a real understanding of the human body that shows through his work. He knows just how to tailor the session for what you need at the time. He creates a balance by blending deep intentional work, with soothing movements to help the body and mind feel relaxed while he’s creating change in the tissue. Jake has a knack for hunting and finding areas that you didn’t even know were a part of the “problem” you were going in for.
