I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my service at this salon. At the end of my service on January 18, 2026, I was quoted $420 for a blowout. Yes, you read that correctly—$420 for a blowout of my natural hair—no extensions, no color, and no relaxer. The only thing included was a “Botox” hair conditioning treatment and trim. After pleading with the owner, Carmen she reduced the total owed to $370. I had this same service in 2023 and 2024, respectively at this very salon. The most I paid at this salon in 2023 and 2024 was $250 (still very high, but I paid it). For context, I have 4c hair and I had just taken it out of cornrows and combed it out. I walked into this salon in need of help. I messed up my hair and it was frizzy and unmanageable. I tried to put in my own texturizer. Carmen took me as a client and educated me on what I did wrong. Corrected my mistake. Now I am happy. My hair looks and feel healthy. She is my new stylist. I am confused by the other reviews. Not dismissing them. But the salon was very clean. The staff was friendly. I did not have to pay up front. The price was what I expected for what was done. An ol' school salon. Straight hair styling. If you are looking for all the frills and fancy stuff these newer salon offer, this may not be for you. If you are not culturally diverse, this may not be for you. I enjoyed Carmen and her team and had a great experience.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. They color my hair, always offer deep conditioning and my hair is healthier and the color is vibrant. The service is excellent and I have never had to wait to be serviced. My hair is natural and the style last at least two weeks without me having to put heat to it. I love it here and highly recommend their services

I have never written a negative review but I had to unfortunately today… last week I got my hair straightened and I just washed it out today and I have SEVERAL heat damage and im super shocked because this is my second blow out this year I did the big chop two years ago my hair was perfectly healthy and now im sporting heat damage from a blowout i got a week ago. I will never come to this place again. If you a natural girlie dont do that to yourself.

I am deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service, price gouging, and inconsideration of waiting twice for service for a total of almost 3 hours to NOT get any service. There was no welcoming us in a customer nor communication to let us know how long we would wait or how many customers were in frontbof us. I truly felt that service just didn't want to be rendered to us. For those who value your time and respect, please find service somewhere else.
