Sasha's Best Braids

I came to this shop because of the amazing reviews and honestly, I was excited. When I arrived, I called the owner and she told me to come right in. I was greeted immediately and everything started off great. I explained the style I wanted, the parting size, and the expectations for my braids. The owner reassured me multiple times that I would leave satisfied and that I had nothing to worry about. She also kept calling me “picky,” which I brushed off at first, but as a paying customer, I expect the service I asked for. We even had a conversation about customer service and loyalty, and we agreed on those values—so I really thought I was in good hands. I came to this salon after seeing their publicly posted $20 off Monday–Thursday special on social media. When I arrived, they refused to honor the promotion and claimed it didn’t exist, even though it was still advertised. This is misleading and violates the Georgia Fair Business Practices Act, which prohibits false or deceptive advertising. I have filed a complaint with the Georgia Consumer Protection Division so this issue can be addressed. Customers deserve honest pricing and transparency. The experience was also uncomfortable, as basic hygiene and professionalism were not maintained during the long appointment. Requiring customers to pay before sitting is utterly ridiculous, that is not how services for beauty works BUT you get what you pay for.

This shop had potential, but I left extremely disappointed. I arrived at 8 AM, wasn’t seated until 9, and braiding didn’t begin until 10:15. While the long wait was frustrating, I remained patient because I’d heard good things. Things were going smoothly—until the end. As the braider, Macire Conte, was using a razor near my hair, she missed and accidentally sliced through my pants. Instead of acknowledging the damage seriously, she walked over to another booth and returned with a needle and thread—intending to sew them on the spot. I politely let her know that wouldn’t work and asked for compensation instead. After some back and forth, I was brought to the back room where someone else offered me $10, which I declined, as the pants were worth more and now unwearable. We eventually agreed

My first time going here I would’ve gave them all 5 stars but I just went and got small knotless waist length braids for the second time and I’m not happy with the service at all! My parts are not the same size, and some of them are not straight either. & to add on, my hair hasn’t even been up a month & braids have constantly been sliding out my head. Sasha’s also changes her prices each time you come even though you’re getting the same thing. She posted on Tikok that she was running a special during the time I got my hair done just for me to get there and not be honored the deal that was being advertised. I drive 2 hours to get to their shop and I am so disappointed that my experience the second time was terrible instead of being great like the first time I went.

6 hours for butt length small!! There were 3 young ladies on my head the entire time. My hair is super thick so I THOUGHT it would take forever, but it didn't 😌 I'm very satisfied with the work. The braids, parts, everything is super neat! I would definitely recommend them!
