Sarah is such a hair boss! She was super prompt day of (and it was so early!) and she jumped right into making everyone’s hair look phenomenal: me/bride, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. Sarah did so many different styles, from my pretty simple blowout to some beautiful braided buns for my cousin/bridesmaid and Sarah’s skills shone through for all of us! I see Nina Hastings at Sarah Mason Salon. She is the absolute best there is for color, highlights, and cuts. I have followed her for at least the past 15 or so years. I keep coming back even after trying other stylists. Do yourself a favor and reach out to her for an appointment. Small, quiet salon in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. I love tacking on time to stop in a few cute shops, too. Strongly recommend.

Sarah is amazing! I’ve been seeing her and Nina for years, as has my mom, and they are fantastic! Sarah recently fixed my hair from a bad coloring job because I moved away and am now travelling to see her because she’s so talented and trusted. She’s also done my makeup and hair for one of my bridal events and did a fantastic job. The studio is adorable, incredible location and makes me feel so relaxed being there. A true treat! absolutely amazing experience with Sarah! i finally found someone trustworthy and knowledgeable enough to cut and HIGHLIGHT my curls! I have been going to Sarah for almost seven years, and she is amazing! She is the best colorist I have been to, always using the best quality products and taking a personalized approach. Sarah listens to what I want to do, and also will give suggestions to make my hair look it’s best. She’s not afraid to go beyond the traditional cut and color, and we’ve experimented with bright colors, different cuts, and even extensions. Whenever I feel blah, I realize it’s because I am overdue for an appointment with her. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a new stylist!
