I’ve been coming to Sara Unisex Beauty Salon & Spa for over 15 years, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself. From day one, Sara and her entire team have treated me like family. It’s not just a salon — it’s a place filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Over the years, I’ve trusted them with everything from haircuts and color to facials and spa treatments, and they’ve never disappointed me. The salon is always spotless, relaxing, and welcoming. My daughter and I visited this salon to get a haircut. We had requested long layers, but the stylist seemed a bit annoyed by our request. My daughter didn’t want to cut her hair too much, but she did want some layers. As she was cutting, she only cut the bottom layer within five minutes. When I saw she was done, I had to go back and remind her of the long layers and the face-framing style. She went back and did it, but she said she didn’t cut it that way because my daughter didn’t want much to be cut. I’m not sure if she knew what long layers meant or the type of cut. We didn’t feel welcomed, so unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this salon.

My first time going to a salon alone. Wasn’t sure what to expect etc, but thankfully Sara made me feel welcomed. She even fixed my hair & made everything possible/better. She has the passion & patience when it comes to haircuts & hair dying. She just earned a new client & definitely would recommend to everyone.

Best hair salon in Brooklyn the staff was excellent! And they did my blow out so good and it came out silky I would definitely recommend to come if your in the area!

I came in here for long layers and face frame. I left with a shaggy haircut NOT at all what I asked for. They don’t do a very good job explaining what they are going to do to you until it’s too late. Once done I was told what I asked for “long layers and face frame” was a haircut THAT DOES NOT EXIST.
