Today my husband and I got a couples massage for my birthday! Felt instantly relaxed walking in the door! From the decor, colors, vibe, scent, music just everything was perfect! You can see that every detail was thought out meticulously. We will for sure be back (at least I will!) Thank you for your amazing skill and kindness!

My family was having a family reunion near Gordonsville and I arranged a Spa day for the women in my family. We had an amazing experience, each of us felt so relaxed and renewed. The Spa is beautifully renovated providing a calm and inviting atmosphere. Bridget welcomed us with warmth, we felt like we were being invited into her home. I was looking for a place to plan a pre-wedding get together for my sister and us bridesmaids, and I stumbled upon Sanctuary, man I’m so glad I did! It was such an incredible experience and such a fun morning for my sister + bridal party. The owner Bridget was kind, helpful, and communicative. She even coordinated getting us a charcuterie board from one of the local businesses in the area (and picked it up!). All the ladies at Sanctuary were amazing as well. They valued our privacy and comfort above all else, and communicated every step of the way to make sure we knew what was going on. The atmosphere of the spa is cozy, calm, and relaxed. After a small scheduling snafu, I had a copper basin foot soak and a 90 minute massage with Maria. The foot soak felt great and it was quite relaxing. The 90 minute massage was worth every penny. It was therapeutic and relaxing. Just what I needed. Maria has amazing hands....she suggested the hot stones, which I have done before and didn't care for...but decided to try again. They were perfect and truly enhanced the massage. I highly recommend Maria and sanctuary spa. The atmosphere is very tranquil and it was very individualized and not busy. Not a cookie cutter spa. This is an upscale establishment with excellent service and staff. Well done!!

I am delighted that I found Sanctuary Spa & Wellness. I discovered this spa while searching online for local businesses that might sell Botnia skin care products. I've been using this line of skin care for the last year with wonderful results, and I was so happy to learn that I can buy these products near my home (helping a local business and saving on shipping fees for my products). I live in Fredericksburg and the trip to Gordonsville is a leisurely drive. The spa is decorated artfully with function and beauty in mind.
