Atter my previous go-to salon moved away over a year ago, I decided to give this place a try-and I'm so glad I did. I took a day off, got a full color with highlights and a much-needed cut from overly long to a fresh, standard length. The whole experience was fantastic. I went to this salon yesterday for a bang perm and a haircut.
When I was charged $100, I was told clearly that the price included both the perm and the haircut. However, the “haircut” itself took literally about 10–15 seconds and made no visible difference at all.
There was no noticeable shape change or styling — it looked the same as before. After getting home and looking carefully, I also realized that the perm was extremely light, to the point that it honestly looked like I hadn’t gotten a perm at all. No one could tell anything had been done. I called the salon to explain the situation and requested a partial refund.
After a short hold, someone who appeared to be the owner took the call. Without even seeing my hair, he insisted that it was done “naturally on purpose.”
