Ateiya was fabulous! have never had a haircut before and have had very limited experiences in a salon, so I was pretty nervous letting someone near my head with a pair of scissors. Ateiya was professional and kind, and she did an amazing job taking care of my hair and making sure that I left with the results I wanted. I will be using Salvaged Roots exclusively for my hair needs for the foreseeable future!

first time visiting and i had such a great experience here! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, they really made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Quam did an amazing job i got a shampoo +steam with natural falt twist my twist came out clean, neat, and exactly how I wanted it. What stood out, though, was the kindness plus how gentle and knowledgeable quam was with my natural hair Highly recommend if you want skilled work with genuine customer care. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This review is long overdue! I’ve been going to Ateiya for 5 years now after finding her on Instagram in 2020. I was desperate to find someone to get a silk press and trim after experiencing heat damage elsewhere months prior. I specifically asked her to cut what needed to be cut and she showed me pictures of my hair throughout the process which are the pictures she took from her phone attached below. I’ve been coming ever since! She’s professional, knowledgeable, and truly knows how to do hair and has gotten my hair healthy and growing! She’s also how I found out I had some vitamin deficiencies that were affecting my hair growth. I always recommend this salon to anyone who’s looking for a hairstylist. One of the best experiences that I have had a salon. I had a silk press treatment but Jasmine and I am obsessed with the result 🤎 Not only is this salon professional but it’s community centred and educational! I went here to get my hair done for the first time in 7 years after several bad experiences with hair stylists and my natural here. This was the most calming and relaxing place I’ve ever got my hair done at. I got blonde highlights done by Jasmine and she walked me through everything! She explained the color wheel and what tones would look best with my skin color and she asked often along the process if I had any problems with what she was doing with my hair. She explained every step before beginning and was very gentle, caring and attentive to my anxieties. Every part of this process was relaxing! From the color to the steam treatment to the haircut!
