I chose Sal's because it had so many positive reviews, but I'm really disappointed with the end result. I was asked by the barber about the cut I wanted and how I style my hair. I provided simple and straightforward answers, but after leaving the shop I quickly noticed two big issues. Firstly, my fringe was noticeable longer on one side with uneven straggling hairs poking down. It just looked messy. Secondly, and I'm still not sure why he did this, but I have a patch of hair at the back left corner that is half an inch longer than the rest of the hair on my head. Despite trying to style it several different ways it just doesn't sit right, because of this weird uneven patch. I wouldn't say the haircut seemed rushed either, he appeared to take his time. I've been here at least three times and they have never cut my hair the way that I asked it to be cut. If I wanted a buzz cut, then I would've asked!

The place is clean and comfortable and, after reading all those positive reviews, I thought I could get the haircut I was looking for. I came with very simple but precise instructions, but the lady who helped me just did what she liked more. When I told her that I was looking for something different, she just told me that what she did was the best treatment for my kind of grooming. I'm sorry, but I know what I want and what I like, I don't care about what she think I should do with my hair stile. I'm VERY disappointed. At least the price are very low, so I didn't waste too much money, beside the withdrawal fee from Chase bank (yep, they don't even have a POS)
