Sal's Barber Shop

Have lived in the neighborhood for 12 years and got my hair-cut there for the first time today. Friendly owner / barber, great cut, good conversation, reasonable price.

Would recommend to anyone reading this. Super nice and good experience

Horrible experience. would not recommend. First off I come in and ask for a head shave and a beard trim ask how much it is. Joe says $35. I say sounds good. Like other reviews the guy did not listen to anything I said. I wanted to keep my beard length he took the length way way down. Then in the middle of it HE SHAVED MY EYEBROWS WITHOUT ASKING. So if you're going to go here which I again wouldn't recommend. Let them know not to shave your eyebrows without asking. The beard lines are not even. He cut me several time on my head and neck. And then when it was all over he says the cost was $70 and cash only. There is an atm inside that charges a $3.00 fee. Also he did this really weird thing at the end where he massaged my shoulders it was honestly creepy. Photo 1 is from about a week ago.

He doesn't take credit cards, I learned that after he already cut my hair. I asked if I can send the $ via PayPal or zelle, he told me that I could not. There were 2 more customers inside, this guy had me stand there for several minutes while he was actively embarrassing me in front of them which was extremely uncomfortable. He at some point asked me to leave my electric bicycle if I couldn't pay. After a while, he told me I could pay with zelle. I will never go back to this place.

Same story as the other folks, took way too much off the beard & talked me out of fixing it (which I’m now doing in my own bathroom). $25 for a bad beard trim, & that’s without a shave. Kinda rude dude but I wouldn’t of cared if the service was good. Location is nice & the shop is clean if you don’t mind the cut.
