Had a curly cut with Ella this weekend and was in touch with Christiana regarding scheduling. Let me start by saying they were both absolutely delightful! I’ve had a lot of curly cuts at salons all over the country and Ella gave me the best cut I’ve ever had. She listened to my wants/goals and made it happen. I made sure to schedule my next visit immediately and I’m so happy I found this great salon. There’s no guess work as a customer. They shared the price list multiple times in the booking process and Ella told me prior to doing anything what I was to expect at check out. They’re in a great location with the cutest little storefront and a great selection of Aveda products.

Today I had an appointment with Haley to correct the mess that Ellie had left me with. The owners had reached out to me after my first review and offered to correct it at no charge. I’m so happy I went. Haley was professional, kind and very proficient at her job. She spent 2 hrs correcting the color, including a very generous brush thru with a scalp brush at the sink ( so Zen). The color came out awesome! There are no more “ bands” on my hair and she actually Brightened the color as I requested. My Curls look great after her “ scrunching “ and styling. I’m happy I found a great stylist and a salon that stands by their service! Highly recommend! I’m so grateful to the owners for offering this to me! Thank you!! Just had a great haircut with Riley! What a wonderful concept for a salon - experts in curly hair! Everyone was super welcoming, starting with making the appointment. I was also impressed that stylists seem to stay here for many years and they have specialized training in curly hair Wish I could take them back to my home !

I waited over a month for my appointment. I received three separate texts that there is a 24 hour reschedule or cancellation policy. One said that it was "imperative" to cancel or reschedule within that window. Yet my appointment was cancelled on the day of my appointment just 5 hours before. I understand people get sick, but my time is valuable too. I asked if it was possible to reschedule with someone else on the same day, and was told no. Double standards could be improved.

Haley is such a skilled hair stylist and has given me so much confidence to wear my hair naturally curly and embrace my texture. I couldn’t recommend her more. She is so kind and attentive to detail and also has great suggestions for styles to try.
