Went here for a haircut for the first time today, and I’m thrilled to say that I’ve finally found my permanent hair salon! The salon itself is super clean and well-maintained, and the decor is so cute! Becca was so welcoming and offered great advice for advancing my haircare routine. She listened to exactly how I wanted my haircut, and did an amazing job! I can’t wait for my next appointment with her!

This was my first time today. I don't let anyone do my hair. I needed something done with it, so I took a chance to try them out. Katie was my stylist. I got a scalp detox and a trim. Katie was so sweet and gentle. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to see Katie. My scalp feels like it's breathing and my hair feels so light.

Meg's hair chair- Megan is just wonderful! She had a challenge with my hair. I wanted a short modern shag style and there wasn't a great amount to work with but she did her magic! I feel updated and stylish and she is just adorable with great energy! So happy I found her!

Maureen is one of the most gifted stylists I’ve ever been to. Her creativity is second to none. The new salon is absolutely gorgeous. Don’t walk, run on over to see these super talented ladies over at Salon UNROOTED, you won’t be disappointed.

Hands down some of the most talented hairstyles in CT. I have been a loyal client to Maureen Thorstenson and Colleen Scott for almost 20 years. Even traveling over 600 miles round trip for hair appointments while living out of state for 9 years. The women of this establishment are artists of their craft and are always so welcoming and down to earth. There’s no judgement or cattiness and the environment is so laid back. Being a mom sometimes making time for self care is difficult when you have a little one in tow but they always welcome my little guy whenever I come in like he’s one of their own. I cannot recommend Salon Unrooted enough!
