Salon Roza Perry African Hair Braiding

My daughter’s hair appt was canceled last minute By another party. We googled local African Braiders. We called ask for 2 cornrows and price. Lady said we had to send the photos over to the owner. Sent over photos for 2 braids owner response 60$. We book for 12:30 the lady at the shop called me back ask to come at 1. Cool. I sent my mom to her up. I sent her with credit card. Lady states only cash my mom is older so her trying to look for atm take money out to give them cash. When the door says all forms of payment. The lady never said anything about cash or offer an atm location. Long story short I FaceTime my daughter and she had a hood on crying because her hair look so bad! When I seen that mess it was horrible. I called owner and text her reply was your mom could’ve use atm next door

If you’re looking to leave disappointed this is the place to be!! My niece went in expecting to have a cute and simple style. All she needed was 2 feed in braids, what she got was some BULL CRAP! They were big and bulky and you can tell the stylist does not deal with thicker hair! My niece was so dissatisfied she cried in the car! No child deserves to feel like that after leaving the salon!! Being an “African braiding salon” but not specializing in all textures of hair is really sad! Do better!

There is a lack of professionalism here. The lady with scarf did my hair and I couldn’t take it out on my own. I have no idea what she did and i never had that issue before. I went to her to take it out she charge $120. I couldn’t believe it and she didn’t care. I’m like you put it in. You didn’t do it right reason why I am having trouble. Thank God my mom visited and she was able to take it out. I lost hair in the process. It is important to asked for their license.

I had a 2pm appointment, but when I arrived there was only one braider who kept telling me the other was “on the way.” After an hour of waiting and being given excuses—including an alleged accident—I texted the person I booked with and she was rude. It became clear they were not being honest and just wanted me to wait for the braider who was already busy. I left and took my business elsewhere. Very unprofessional. They should’ve called to reschedule instead of wasting my time.

Walked in to make my appointment for a bun and the lady told me the price of $150 for a bun no problem. Showed up to my appointment and the braider was 33 minutes late and she didn’t great me or anything. The other braider ask for the picture of the bun that I wanted and she asked did she tell me the price for the bun. I told her no that you told me $150. She was like no not me. And I was like yes you. So the price went to $180 and I still didn’t get the bun just some lemonade braids that are cute but not what I wanted and when I asked about the bun that I wanted she looked at me crazy. So I gave her the price $150 that she quoted me and walked out. If you are going to be late let the customer know because a lot of us work and have to take off from our jobs.
