Pure Salon — where do I even start?! I worked with Sam for my hair and Brynn for my makeup for my wedding, and they were both incredible. To back it up a bit, I had originally done a trial at another salon and honestly wasn’t thrilled with the results. Then my stepmom mentioned Pure Salon (even though she’d only ever bought Aveda products there and never actually had her hair done), and when I found out they had availability so close to my wedding, I decided to just go for it. I had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Miss Caroline S. She did a wonderful job by clarifying with me exactly what I wanted and what my preferences were. She was very friendly and professional, and I felt comfortable enough that I could completely trust her with my hair to do a fabulous job- and she certainly did! She was able to give me the exact style and cut I wanted, and now I can feel great when I look at my hair, thanks to her expertise. I look forward to continuing to come here and have my hair done by Caroline S. again. 5/5 experience!

Ana, the new esthetician at Salon Pure, is North Georgia's best waxer. Seriously. She's been my go-to for five years so when she moved to this Flowery Branch salon from downtown Gainesville, I happily followed her. She makes you feel completely comfortable and handles my Brazilian waxing efficiently (Go for the sugar wax, it's way better, trust me!) and is the only person I trust with my eyebrows too! If you are on the fence about getting a Brazilian, just do it! Yes, it's not the most...enjoyable...45 minutes once a month, but Ana makes it fast and bearable and keeps you distracted with good conversation and the results are great. **EDITED: I am updating my review in response to the salon’s reply, which I believe misrepresents my experience. During my appointment, I felt very uncomfortable in my stylist's presence. At the time of my appointment, she only carried on topics with me if it was about her favorite explicit adult fiction series. I tried to tell her I am on a reading hiatus and to switch subjects to something more appropriate, but she would either ignore me or start a conversation with someone else instead while I was in her chair. She described graphic, explicit scenes from the books, and I felt incredibly disrespected. The owner’s response claims that I made their stylist uncomfortable. That is not accurate. Such a great hair spot with the best vibes, great music, super clean, and all the girls are super sweet! Ashley always does my hair perfectly, and I truly wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else. 10 out of 10 👏👏
