I had asked for a chocolate brown balayage from hairstylist Melissa and had gotten horrible yellow streaks in my hair instead as “highlights.” The first picture is what I had asked for, and the subsequent pictures are what I had received. Not only are the pieces not blended whatsoever, they are also uneven and some streaks are wider than the others. I had to go back twice to re-tone it down to match the color of what I asked for and even still I am not fully satisfied with the end state, although it was better then the initial. Another hairdresser who had been working there for 25 years (I forget her name) was kind enough to let me come back and re-tone twice free of charge (and that’s why I held back writing this review), but I do feel like the original job was done so horribly that it wa

I’ve been coming here for years, but this last visit was bad enough that I won’t be returning. The stylist, Daryl spoke to me in a condescending way, repeatedly telling me that I needed color and highlights instead of suggesting them respectfully. On top of that, I was given a very choppy, heavily layered cut — completely wrong for fine hair — which has made my hair harder to manage and look even thinner, the opposite of the fullness and volume I wanted. The woman at the front desk was also curt and borderline rude. I even booked a full highlight appointment before leaving because I was trying to be polite, but I walked out with a knot in my stomach and later canceled because I didn’t feel comfortable coming back. I like to wait awhile before giving reviews because for me, it takes time to develop a relationship and determine customer service satisfaction based on consistency. I’ve been coming to Salon NV for about a year now and have not been disappointed. Professional Service from Judy, the owner, Rene at the front desk and the assistants at the back. Judy is truly an amazing stylist. She listens to your concerns and follows through. She is also very skilled at root touchup, and cutting curly hair. I am very happy with her and her salon and hope to be a patron for years to come. Thank you, Judy!

Very disappointed. I took my haircut today. I have a really good long thick hair, their hair dresser Laura cut my hair too short, I asked her for 3 to 4 inches short but she cut it like 10 inches short. I couldn’t see from the back, how short it is going..I asked for face framing style while maintaining my length after 4 inches cut..I always loved my long hair and never had this short hair before. I showed the clear picture of style I want with and with length what I need. You guys should listen what exactly the client want, I really miss my long hair look and the hair dresser make comment on my hair that “it looks like I am cutting hair for a monster, this is not funny at all. You are taking good amount for your services and this is the job you pick, you will get all type of customers..an

The stylist named Laura cut my hair too short! Even when I told her specifically not to cut it more than an inch. Half of my hair length is gone! I regret it so much
